Three hearts
Some losses do not arrive as a single moment. They arrive as a season that changes everything around it.
For LUOSKO, the loss of Aurora in January, followed by Kensi and Abbie in April, became one of those seasons.
Each of them held a different place in the story.
Aurora represented the future. Her life was heartbreakingly short, but her impact was immeasurable. She reminded everyone that a life is never measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind.
Kensi became the quiet heart of the pack after Luna’s passing. She never tried to replace Luna. Instead, she became exactly what everyone needed: calm, dependable and strong. She welcomed countless rescue dogs and helped shape the confidence of many who arrived frightened and uncertain.
Abbie carried generations of LUOSKO history. She was Luna’s daughter. She was Aurora’s mother. Through her flowed one of the most important family lines in LUOSKO’s history.
One legacy
Their stories are not separate from LUOSKO. They are woven into it.
Aurora taught that the smallest life can leave an immeasurable mark.
Kensi taught steadiness, patience and quiet strength.
Abbie carried the bridge between generations.
Together, they remind us that legacy is not only what remains after loss. Legacy is what continues to guide every dog welcomed, every frightened soul steadied, and every future chapter carried forward with love.
